JASON BIDWELL
Jason is an artist from the Margaret River region, who explores the dynamic relationships between man, nature and the things that influence them, using organic geometry and symbolic representation. He sees his art as a symbol in itself; that represents, stands for, or suggests an idea, visual image, belief, action, or material entity. Through his personal interest in traditional religious art, Jungian psychology and western esoteric philosophy, he is captivated by the ability of symbols to communicate complexity often with the simplest representation.
" The natural world grounds me, having grown up in the country and having spent and continue to spend a great deal of time in the southwest forests, oceans and rivers. I am always trying to represent the beauty in the local, as being seen every day sometimes becomes mundane and underappreciated. I am deeply influenced by folk and outsider art, and believe it to be the purest visual representation of a society’s/community’s relationship with the world around it. "
TERRI PIKORA
Terri grew up in Albany and moved “back home” about six years ago after living away for several decades. Her works are inspired by the sense of being home and the colours and patterns of the region. While Terri is a self-taught artist, she has been lucky to have painted with several inspirational mentors including Jane McKay, Nancy Hillis, Lindsay Pow and David Giles who have encouraged her to explore and develop her own style. She completed Cert. II Art and Design at the Great Southern Institute Technology in 2013 as well as attending workshops and formal art classes. Her works have been shown in numerous group exhibitions in New York, Melbourne, Perth and Albany, as well as regional art galleries.
Terri has used a variety of mediums over the years, and has recently developed a passion for working with cold wax medium and oils. Her recent works feature multiple layers and glazes, with a limited colour palette and different mark-making media and tools.
TERENCE PODMORE
Terence was born in the NW of England, and has a Diploma in Art & Design. He has worked for many years as a graphic designer, and has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He has enjoyed a long and personally fulfilling life in the arts and is never without his Daily Visual Sketch Diary. He mainly paints in oil and acrylic on canvas support, in a style that could be termed as semi-abstract expressionism. He now resides in Albany WA.
Terence draws inspiration from the human experience and the search for truth. He creates stories, sometimes tinged with provocation to engage the viewer, and as in life, his themes are diverse and endless.
Pod artwork has featured in many collective exhibitions in Queensland and England, the last being a UNICF event, shown at the Stockport War Museum in 2014. A selection of Podmore archival artwork can be seen at: saatchiart.com/pod.

SUSAN PRICE
Susan is inspired by the colours and forms that exist in the natural environment. When she sees something of natural beauty she has to translate that onto canvas or paper. She captures nature, people, and moments with acrylics, pencils and pastels. Hopefully she will include some beautiful nudes, to complete our blushing exhibition theme.
SARA RICHES
Sara is an artist living in Denmark Western Australia, an Art and Design graduate, and now a mother of three. After being raised in a religious cult, for many years she was unable to express her feelings. Forcing herself to draw every day became a therapeutic way of releasing a painful past, and now she has immersed herself in her creative side - her art has become her voice. Sara works with inks, watercolours, acrylics and mixed media, and loves figurative work. She is drawn to feminine beauty, its fragility and its strengths.
She has exhibited her artworks in various exhibitions since 2014 in Australia, and was awarded the mixed media award in Bruce Rock, and lately has had her work accepted into the Seattle Erotic Art Festival in April 2017. Currently she is illustrating the fable "Futuro" written by Michael J Bell.
