I look for inspiration in the everyday, in the ordinary. Peeling beetroot for a salad, watching the clouds on my wanders, noticing the shadows cast on tree trunks.
I aim for the simplicity of form, the feeling of spontaneity and luminosity. To capture the light and the feeling of being enveloped in nature.
I am inspired by the beauty of the south coast environment where I live and work. I enjoy oil painting, plein air, and to dabble in watercolour, oil pastels and drawing.
