Terence was born in the NW of England, and has a Diploma in Art & Design. He has worked for many years as a graphic designer, and has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He has enjoyed a long and personally fulfilling life in the arts and is never without his Daily Visual Sketch Diary. He mainly paints in oil and acrylic on canvas support, in a style that could be termed as semi-abstract expressionism. He now resides in Albany WA.
Terence draws inspiration from the human experience and the search for truth. He creates stories, sometimes tinged with provocation to engage the viewer, and as in life, his themes are diverse and endless.
Pod artwork has featured in many collective exhibitions in Queensland and England, the last being a UNICF event, shown at the Stockport War Museum in 2014. A selection of Podmore archival artwork can be seen at: saatchiart.com/pod.
